Fionnuala McGrady  L.L.B.

Fionnuala qualified as s solicitor in 1978 after obtaining her degree at Queens University Belfast. She opened her own practice 'Fionnuala McGrady'  in 1984. The practice has become one of the leading providers of Legal Services in County Down and recently opened a branch office in Warrenpoint.

Fionnuala is a Solicitor Advocate and has considerable experience in many areas of law. Her main interests are representing families including children. She is a member of the Children Order Panel. Her other interests are property and wills. She is particularly interested in assisting the firm's elderly clients. Fionnuala is regularly asked to address local groups to advise on many areas of law.

Fionnuala has a varied sporting background. She was well known for her interests in Squash, Camogie and Hockey. She represented her county in Camogie and has only recently retired from Veterans' Hockey. She has been a successful coach in the Ulster Club Championship with Leitrim Fontenoys and winning an All-Ireland Final with Down. Fionnuala has refereed at All-Ireland level and is a member of the Disputes Resolution Authority and the National Camogie Disciplinary Committee. She is a former member of the Sports Council of Northern Ireland and is now a keen golfer.

Fionnuala believes the staff are one of the strengths of the firm and they are one of the reasons for the firm's success. The staff each work within a specialist area and are highly trained, motivated and wonderful communicators with clients of the firm and also other legal firms' Counsel and other organisations.
